Cape Hillsborough Northern ECO Safari

A day filled with travel to various attractions in the Cape Hillsborough area. This tour tells the history of the Juipera Aboriginal Tribe and how they lived in this region, including visits to the old Aboriginal Midden, ancient Aboriginal Fish Trap, and the Aboriginal Bush tucker trail.

· View Newry & Rabbit Islands and the fishing village of Seaforth
· Morning tea at the old Marian Railway Station with its Crafts & Tropical gardens
· Take a look at Ball Bay & Halliday Bay - Lunch at Cape Hillsborough Nature Resort www.capehillsboroughresort.com.au
· Catch Sooty Grunter in a private fishing dam with afternoon tea (the fish must go back)
· Visit the historic Leap Hotel and hear the story of how the place got its name
· Take in the views of Mackay from the Leapviews lookout.
