Cape Hillsborough Northern ECO Safari

A day filled with travel to various attractions in the Cape Hillsborough area. This tour tells the history of the Juipera Aboriginal Tribe and how they lived in this region.

The Tour Includes: Views of Newry & Rabbit Islands and the fishing village of Seaforth, Cape Hillsborough NP, Morning tea, look at Ball Bay & Halliday Bay, Lunch at Old Station Teahouse with its lush gardens and walks, Walk the aboriginal bush tucker trail, Visit the historic Leap Hotel and hear the story of how the place got its name and see the views of Mackay from the Leap Lookout.

Mackay City Heritage Tour

This tour leads you through the heritage of Mackay and its colourful past. Mackay has one of the biggest collections of art deco buildings in Australia.  Included are visits to local attractions, highlighted by a tour through the old “Pine Islet Lighthouse”. Lunch is served at the Lighthouse Restaurant with spectacular views of the Reef Marina.
The Tour Includes; The Botanic Gardens for morning tea, South Sea Islander Meeting Hut, The Reef Marina, Pine Islet Lighthouse, Northern Beaches, Mackay City Heart, “The Mill” with the opportunity of souvenir shopping.

Nebo Outback Heritage Tour

This day is filled with nostalgia. Travelling to the cattle town of Nebo for its history from the explorer Leichhardt to the gold discoveries at Mt Britton. Nebo is a quaint little country town just starting to gain prosperity on the back of the coal mining industry. The journey home will take you down the Blue Mountains Range travelling through some of the most picturesque country in the region and through Sarina.

Platypus & Rainforest ECO Safari

Runs April- September

Travel through the picturesque Pioneer Valley to the lush sub tropical rainforest in Eungella National Park, Australia’s largest rainforest. These beautiful cascading waterfalls and playful PLATYPUS, water dragons, kingfishers and ullyses butterflies are part some of this unique ECO tour.
The Tour Includes; Platypus spotting, Reeforest Adventure Tours famous Billy tea & damper, Visit to the unique “Finch Hatton Hilton” our private bush camp, Discovery of amazing Flora & Fauna, An interpretive walk and swim in Finch Hatton Gorge, Reeforest scrumptious BBQ lunch, Spectacular scenic views of the Pioneer Valley from 2,400ft back to Mackay.

Breakfast with the Platypus!

Runs October through to April

 Journey to Eungella
National Park's Broken River to see platypus in their natural habitat as they feed. Then over to the 'Finch HattonHilton' to have a cooked breakfast in our private bush camp.   We then visit the beautiful Araluen Falls for a walk and a swim.
Leaves 5.30am-6am and
returns by 1pm.
